Okay, we’ll cop. Yes, we’ve worked with and in Fortune 500 companies delivering enterprise level solutions. Problem #1: Traditional Agencies Can Cause Duplication of Effort
You can end up with duplication in effort. Say, for example, you’ve been using a traditional agency for print advertising. You’ve decided to upgrade your current web presence – currently handled by another vendor -- and the ad agency says they can “design the look and feel” of the new site for you. they turn in a spiffy design, all right – but it can’t actually be built as a site, since they don’t understand the way web programming works. To top it off, the design doesn’t take into account things like search engine optimization or future expansion. So now you’ve got to pay for the programmers to come up with an alternative design, and then pay some more for the two companies to argue about it.
